Kitchen remodels
Carpentry opens the walls and corrects the framing, cabinets go in level, and painting closes it out. Nobody waits on a subcontractor who booked another job that week.
Services
Six services kept in house since 2020, for homeowners across Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. Hire us for one of them or for a project that needs all four, and deal with one company either way.
Framing, trim, decks, lanais and stairs. The trade the company started with in 2020 and still the one every other service leans on.
Good carpentry is mostly invisible. You notice it when a door closes the same way in August as it does in January, when a stair tread does not flex underfoot, and when a mitered corner still reads as one piece three years later. We work to the line rather than to the nearest quarter inch, because every gap left in framing shows up later in the finish.
Florida humidity is the real test. Anything exposed gets treated or rot-resistant stock, cut ends get sealed, and details are built to shed water rather than hold it. Inside, we allow for wood movement instead of forcing joints tight and watching them open a season later. And when we find soft wood behind trim or at a deck ledger, we show you before we cover anything up.
Interior and exterior painting where the prep gets as much time as the finish, because in this climate that is what decides how long the job lasts.
Anyone can roll a wall. What separates a paint job that holds from one that chalks and peels in two seasons is everything that happens first: washing off mildew and chalking, scraping loose material back to something sound, patching and sanding, caulking the joints that move, then priming so the finish coat has something to grip.
Jacksonville sun is brutal on a cheap coating, so we specify products rated for UV, humidity and mildew resistance rather than for the price per gallon. Exteriors get scheduled around the weather, not against it, because a coat applied ahead of an afternoon storm or into heavy morning dew never cures the way it should. Inside, floors get covered and trim masked before a can is opened.
Kitchens, vanities, laundry rooms and built-ins, measured to the room you actually have rather than the one on the plan.
Cabinet work is the trade where sloppiness is impossible to hide. Doors sit at eye level, so an uneven reveal across a run is the first thing anyone sees. We take the real measurements of the room, allow for walls that lean and floors that fall away, scribe the end panels and fillers to fit, and level and shim the boxes before a single door goes on.
In a humid house the box matters as much as the door front, so we steer clients toward construction that holds up around sinks and dishwashers instead of swelling at the bottom edge in a few years. We handle the whole install, including hardware, toe kicks, crown and panel returns, and we coordinate with your counter fabricator so the template is taken on a set of boxes that are already dead level.
Patios, pool decks, driveways, walkways and steps, built on a base that holds in sandy soil instead of rutting and sinking through a rainy season.
Almost every failed paver job in North Florida failed underground. Sand does not hold a load on its own, so anything set on a thin or poorly compacted base spreads under a car and dips under a table leg. We excavate to the depth the job needs, build the base in compacted lifts of base rock, screed a consistent bedding layer, and compact the field once the stone is set.
Drainage decides the rest. Every surface gets pitched to carry water away from the house and the slab, because an August storm will find the one spot that was left flat. Edges get restrained properly, cuts are made on site so borders stay tight, and joints are filled with polymeric sand to keep weeds, ants and washout out of the field. Around a pool we work to the finished elevation of the deck so nothing ponds where people walk barefoot.
Driveways, pool decks, walkways, lanais and siding cleaned at the right pressure for each surface, without the stripes and etching a careless wand leaves behind.
Heat and humidity turn a Florida driveway green and black faster than almost anywhere else in the country, and the same film builds up on the shaded side of the house. Pressure is not the answer to all of it. Concrete and pavers take a rotary surface cleaner, which holds a consistent distance and leaves an even finish across the whole slab instead of the arcs you see when someone waves a wand at it.
Stucco, siding, soffits and screens get a soft wash instead: the right cleaning solution doing the work at low pressure, so nothing is forced behind the surface or under a lap. We protect plantings, keep runoff away from the pool and check the substrate first, because older paint and soft mortar decide how much pressure a wall can actually take.
Sealing is what makes a clean driveway stay clean. It locks the joint sand, deepens the color and buys years before the next full restoration.
On pavers the joints are the weak point. Once the sand washes out, the field loses its interlock, edges start to shift and ants and weeds move into the gaps. We re-sand the joints first, then seal, so the sand is bound in place instead of running off with the next storm. The surface also stops drinking in oil, leaves and tannin, which is what leaves the dark rings under a parked car and a potted plant.
Timing matters more than product. Everything gets cleaned, treated for stains and left to dry completely before any sealer goes down, because sealing over trapped moisture is exactly what causes the cloudy white haze you see on so many driveways around here. You choose the finish at the estimate: a wet look that pulls the color forward, or a natural matte that keeps the stone looking dry.
This is where keeping all four in house actually pays off. One schedule, one price, one crew leader answering for the whole thing.

Carpentry · Cabinets · PaintingA paver deck that wraps the pool and meets a new lanai or set of steps, built and finished by one company, then washed and sealed before we hand it back.
Pavers · Carpentry · Washing & sealingTrim repairs, built-ins, a full interior repaint and a new front walkway, sequenced so you are not living through the same room twice.
All four tradesWe do not publish square foot rates, because a number without a site visit is a guess that gets corrected upward later. Here is what we do instead.
We come out, measure, and look at what is behind the surface. Thirty to sixty minutes for most projects, at no cost and with nothing owed afterward.
You get a full scope listing materials, preparation and finish work, with one number attached to it. Usually within 48 hours of the visit.
If we open a wall and find moisture damage or failed old work, we stop and show you before touching it. Nothing reaches your invoice that you did not agree to.
Or describe the whole project and we will tell you what it takes. Free estimates across Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.
